IT Support Specialist - help desk (Boston, MA)

Silverline Cross Legal Group Partners is a law firm in Boston serving businesses and individuals, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 34 people based in Boston. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
