IT Support Specialist - help desk (Boston, MA)

Clearpath Ivory Hospitality is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for group events, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 112 people based in Boston. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with group events. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Boston. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
