IT Support Specialist - help desk (Baltimore, MD)

Bluepeak Rowan Civic Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for constituent requests, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 538 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with constituent requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Baltimore. • We reply to every applicant.
