IT Support Specialist - help desk (Anchorage, AK)

Harborlight Glen Legal Group is a law firm in Anchorage serving businesses and individuals, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our help desk. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Anchorage. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with client files. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
