IT Support Specialist - help desk (Anchorage, AK)

Highbridge Cedar Civic Services Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on help desk for procurement, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Anchorage, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
