IT Support Specialist - device setup (Wichita, KS)

Silverline Rowan Inspection Services provides independent inspection and testing for industry across Wichita, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Training and certification are paid for. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with test reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
