IT Support Specialist - device setup (Wichita, KS)

Northwind Ivory Banking Services provides everyday banking and small-business lending around Wichita. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with deposit accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Wichita, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
