IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Cedar Vista Financial Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for account servicing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account servicing. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
