IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Silverline Drift Facilities Group is a facilities company in Virginia Beach with crews on day and night shifts. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 33 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
