IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Umber Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Virginia Beach area. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with field visits. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
