IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Greenridge Fox Learning Group operates schools and learning programmes around Virginia Beach, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Collaboration between teachers and staff is strong. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
