IT Support Specialist - device setup (Virginia Beach, VA)

Westbrook Lantern Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for student accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with student accounts. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Virginia Beach. • We reply to every applicant.
