IT Support Specialist - device setup (Tampa, FL)

We are growing our team at Cedar Ivory Inspection Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 16 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
