IT Support Specialist - device setup (Tampa, FL)

Cedar Drift Facilities is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for customer sites, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Bilingual teams are common. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with customer sites. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Tampa. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
