IT Support Specialist - device setup (Tampa, FL)

Greenridge Ember Manufacturing is a Tampa manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Tampa. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
