IT Support Specialist - device setup (Tampa, FL)

Harborlight Bright Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Tampa and nearby communities. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Tampa. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
