IT Support Specialist - device setup (St. Louis, MO)

Bright Glen Inspection Services tests and certifies buildings, pipelines and equipment around St. Louis. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Independence and accuracy are our product. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in St. Louis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
