IT Support Specialist - device setup (Savannah, GA)

Fernwood Harbor Freight is a Savannah logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Savannah, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
