IT Support Specialist - device setup (Savannah, GA)

Westbrook Ember Manufacturing is a Savannah manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with scrap and rework. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Savannah. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
