IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Juniper Banking Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with account openings. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
