IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Jose, CA)

Summit Union Legal Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for court deadlines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Confidentiality and accuracy are taken very seriously. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with court deadlines. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Jose. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
