IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Diego, CA)

Ironwood Community Partners Group is a San Diego charity working with residents on basic needs and opportunity, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Mission matters here, and so does looking after staff. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
