IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Diego, CA)

Nova Fox Property Management is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for unit turnovers, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 53 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with unit turnovers. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
