IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Diego, CA)

Clearpath West Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for ticketing, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in San Diego. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in San Diego. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
