IT Support Specialist - device setup (San Antonio, TX)

Summit Juniper Foods is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in San Antonio. • We reply to every applicant.
