IT Support Specialist - device setup (Sacramento, CA)

Clearpath Harbor Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for visitor services, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 32 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with visitor services. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
