IT Support Specialist - device setup (Sacramento, CA)

Bluepeak Lakeside Arts Center is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for exhibitions, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
