IT Support Specialist - device setup (Sacramento, CA)

Bright Fox Learning Group is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for learning materials, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 480 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with learning materials. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Sacramento. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
