IT Support Specialist - device setup (Sacramento, CA)

Ironwood Ivory Environmental Services is an environmental-services company in Sacramento with routes, transfer stations and recycling, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 989 people based in Sacramento. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with recycling loads. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Sacramento, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
