IT Support Specialist - device setup (Rochester, NY)

Bright Meridian Inspection Services is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for certifications, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Technicians travel and report carefully. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with certifications. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
