IT Support Specialist - device setup (Rochester, NY)

Highbridge Juniper Arts Center is an arts centre in Rochester with a full calendar of events. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
