IT Support Specialist - device setup (Reno, NV)

Redstone Keystone Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Reno region. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a small organisation of about 181 people based in Reno. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with usage data. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Reno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
