IT Support Specialist - device setup (Reno, NV)

Rivermark Rook Manufacturing Partners manufactures parts and assemblies at its Reno plant, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 728 people based in Reno. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with machine downtime. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Reno, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
