IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Westbrook Beacon Financial is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for regulatory reports, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with regulatory reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
