IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Harborlight Fox Staffing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. We are in the people business and act like it. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with temp assignments. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We reply to every applicant.
