IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Greenridge Quill Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Columbus focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Columbus. • We reply to every applicant.
