IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Nova Lantern Construction is a Albuquerque contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with change orders. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Albuquerque. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
