IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Bright Quarry Environmental Services and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. We take pride in clean streets. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with service complaints. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Anchorage. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
