IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Amberfield Willow Insurance sells home, auto and small-business insurance in Grand Rapids. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. Claims teams work together and share what they learn. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
