IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Lumen Stone Telecom Group builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Fresno area, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of about 312 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with billing accounts. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
