IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Stonegate Timber Property Management Partners is a Grand Rapids property manager with leasing, maintenance and resident services, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. We are flexible about schedules. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with maintenance requests. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
