IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Foxglove Timber Insurance Group provides coverage to households and businesses around Minneapolis. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. We invest in training for new adjusters. What you will do • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with underwriting files. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Minneapolis. • We reply to every applicant.
