IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Greenridge Fern Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Fresno, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • Experience with service connections. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Fresno. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
