IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Vista Community Partners and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with volunteer shifts. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Reno. • We reply to every applicant.
