IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Silverline Granite Staffing and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with candidate screening. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Spokane. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
