IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Clearpath Glen Civic Services supports public agencies in St. Louis with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need an IT Support Specialist to lead our device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. What we are looking for • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with procurement. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in St. Louis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
