IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Harborlight Fern Hospitality is looking for an IT Support Specialist. The job centres on device setup for food costs, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. • Experience with food costs. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in San Antonio. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
