IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

Bluepeak Umber Banking Services is a regional lender in Anchorage with branches and a growing mobile service. We are hiring an IT Support Specialist to take on device setup. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with branch operations. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Anchorage. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
