IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Wilder Markets and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Answer support requests by phone, chat and in person and log every ticket. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. What we are looking for • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. Nice to have • Experience with shrink and waste. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Sacramento. • We reply to every applicant.
