IT Support Specialist - device setup (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Orchard Arts Center and adding an IT Support Specialist whose main responsibility will be device setup. Evenings and weekends are part of the job. What you will do • Troubleshoot Wi-Fi, VPN and software problems and escalate vendor issues with clear notes. • Write short how-to guides for problems that keep recurring. • Set up, repair and retire laptops, phones and printers. • Create and disable user accounts as people join and leave. • Keep an accurate asset list and patch schedule. What we are looking for • A patient way with colleagues who are not technical. • Working knowledge of Windows, macOS and Microsoft 365. • One to three years of help-desk or desktop-support experience. Nice to have • Experience with exhibitions. • CompTIA A+ or similar certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Knoxville. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
